Jos Buttler Fined 10 Percent of Match Fee for Breaching IPL Code of Conduct: Rajasthan Royals' English star opener Jos Buttler was fined by the Governing Council of IPL for violating the IPL Code of Conduct during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on Thursday night. Fined 10 percent of the match fee for this.

Jos Buttler was run out for zero against KKR. He had sacrificed his wicket for Yashasvi Jaiswal. However, Jaiswal single-handedly won the match easily for Rajasthan. Jaiswal, who scored a half-century in just 13 balls, played a match-winning inning of 98 not out.

However, Butler was very disappointed with being run out like this and while going to the pavilion, he hit his bat on the boundary rope. For this reason, the BCCI has imposed a fine of 10 percent of the match fee on Butler.

IPL released a statement late night

The IPL Governing Council informed in a statement at midnight, "Jos Buttler of Rajasthan Royals was fined for violating the IPL Code of Conduct during Match 56 of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens, Kolkata." A fine of 10 percent of the match fee has been imposed for the breach."

The statement said that Butler has accepted a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2'f of the IPL Code of Conduct. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the decision of the Match Referee is final and binding. Please tell that Butler has accepted his mistake.

Rajasthan easily won the match

In the 56th match of IPL 2023, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 149 runs after playing first. In response, Rajasthan Royals chased down the target very easily in just 13.1 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 98 runs in 47 balls for Rajasthan. 13 fours and 5 sixes came out of his bat. At the same time, captain Sanju Samson returned unbeaten on 48 runs.
